Without Pro, your journals live only on your device and will be lost if you delete the app or lose your phone.
Pricing questions
Yes, for as long as you like. The free plan on iPhone and Android includes video, voice, and written entries, mood insights, the garden, and the Happy Wall. Your entries are saved on your phone.
An encrypted backup of your entries, stickers, wallpapers, and to-do lists. Your journal opens on your other devices and the web, and comes back in full on a new phone. Pro also adds extra prompt journeys and stickers.
Upgrade from Settings in the Happy Reasons app on iPhone or Android. One subscription covers all your devices, and you can cancel anytime.
You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. After that, you have 30 days to download your backed-up journals to your phone from the app, and then the cloud copies are deleted. Anything already on your phone stays there.
With Pro, sign in on your new phone and enter your journal password, and everything comes back. Keep that password somewhere safe, because it's the key to your encrypted journal. On the free plan, entries live only on the phone they were made on, so they can't be restored.
